SoulCollage® Art Therapy

SoulCollage® is a form of art therapy that inspires creativity and communication with our inner world. We meet once a month on Saturday afternoons to create cards.

A full deck contains four suits that represent parts of our psyche, the people or places we are in relationships with, physical energies, and archetypes. Learn how to create and use these cards for personal guidance with peers and clinicians.

Introduction to SoulCollage®

Written Exposure Therapy (WET)

HeartMath®

HeartMath® is a form of biofeedback that helps train clients to bring your physical, emotional, and mental systems into coherent alignment. Tuning into your heart’s wisdom creates a profound shift within that helps you approach situations with more emotional balance, compassion, clarity and personal confidence.

Canine Assisted Therapy comes in many forms. At LES we have dogs in the office to compliment our therapy program. Dogs can provide an ice braker for anxious clients or folks who have never tried therapy before. Dogs are present to cuddle, play, and observe.

Did you know Freud had a dog in his office?

IFS (Internal Family Systems)

Internal Family System's theory is that the mind is made up of multiple parts, and underlying them is a person's core or true Self. Like members of a family, a person's inner parts can take on extreme roles or subpersonalities. Each part has its own perspective, interests, memories, and viewpoint. A core tenet of IFS is that every part has a positive intent, even if its actions are counterproductive and/or cause dysfunction. There is no need to fight with, coerce, or eliminate parts; the IFS method promotes internal connection and harmony to bring the mind back into balance.

IFS therapy aims to heal wounded parts and restore mental balance. The first step is to access the core Self and then, from there, understand the different parts in order to heal them.

EMDR

Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a mental health treatment technique. This method involves moving your eyes a specific way while you process traumatic memories. Bilateral stimulation can also be used instead of eye movement. EMDR’s goal is to help you heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences.
